I have worked for over thirty years in the organic hair and beauty industry in central London and managed my own five star award winning luxury organic spa and training academy in Richmond Upon Thames.

The spa was over three floors, we had over 5500 clients and covered every aspect of hair and beauty.  With a large retail area and an organic formulations bar where we made and blended organic treatments for hair and beauty, also essential oils for aromatherapy massage and facials.

All of this alongside working as a science lab technician, volunteering at a children's charity and looking after my four children, when one day a family tragedy changed my focus on life dramatically and we moved to our farm on the Isle of Wight

 

Having studied organic products for many years and the difference they make to our health, also being a qualified science technician, I revived my passion to make my own natural products without the use of parabens, aluminium, PPD's and small particles which are harmful for women in particular and have been linked to breast and various other cancers.

After all lets not forget your skin is the largest organ in the body and the skin will absorb these chemicals. This includes PPD's from hair colour etc. Its always best to stay as natural as possible, you would not eat these chemicals so why put them on your skin.

I now have my own lab on the farm where I work full time as a cosmetic scientist, researching the finest ingredients, developing my products in the most ethical way, designing using the most sustainable recyclable and reusable packaging.

I now grow my own plants and herbs to add to my soaps and balms and even a few candles.

 

All products are safety tested and certified to UK and EU legislation. 

My aim is to make high quality natural clean products without the use of unnecessary chemicals.

Balms

Each balm is very carefully made with ethically sourced organic ingredients. I make the balms from unrefined (raw) organic shea butter which keeps all its vitamins and minerals,  organic and unrefined (raw) food grade cocoa butter, organic jojoba oil and my own organically grown calendula, which gives these power house balms their magic.

I have won several awards for my balms for which I am very grateful, however its the love for what I do and wanting other people to experience their magic in healing and protecting the skin and discovering natures natural healers that gives me the greatest pleasure.

Soaps

All my soaps are made using the cold process method, they are made from scratch using only organic oils, butters and essential oils. I never use fragrance oils in my soaps.

The soaps have to go through a saponification process (curing) which takes at least one month before they can be sold.

Candles

My candles are made with sustainable, ethically sourced, eco-friendly rapeseed and coconut wax. 

I use a cotton wick and the finest quality oils without silicones or parabens. Each of my candles take three days to make by hand and cures for at least one month. 

I never use paraffin wax in my candles.

I do not use soy wax as this has led to large deforestation and the destruction of natural habitats, its production generates greenhouse gases that contribute to climate change.

People ask me "what are your most popular products?"  

I can easily say, my vegan calendula and mulberry creams, although my calendula balm with may chang is also very popular and we now sell this around the world.

We have had wonderful feedback on these totally natural face and body creams. I infuse the calendula for at least a month until it is golden and all the amazing skin healing properties infuse into the oil.

Another favourite is my wellness range of essential oil candles. Once people have one in their home they are a top favourite as a gift for friends and family.

​

My daughter has very sensitive skin so it is important that she knows what ingredients are used in the products she uses, so these creams and balms are perfect for her skin with only nourishing and healing properties and no unnecessary ingredients.
